The conversation becomes a written plan, painted in your brand: the pages, the features on them, the feeling, the words. You read it, change what you want changed — a card at a time or in a sentence — and approve it. Then Orion puts it in order: what gets built first, what comes after, and which of it needs you. This is the step we think matters most — it is the difference between correcting a direction in a sentence and finding the mismatch after everything has been built around it.

Your first site publishes to a Steed address the moment it’s done, free. On Live ($29 a month) it goes on a domain you already own, and you connect Stripe so the site can charge real prices to real customers — your Stripe, your money, Steed never in the middle. The point of launching is getting paid, so payments are part of going live rather than a project you take on later.

The questions people ask next

What if the plan isn’t what I wanted?

Change it, or reject it. The plan step exists precisely so a mismatch is caught while it is still a paragraph rather than a finished site. Nothing is built and nothing is charged until you approve.

What if the finished site isn’t right?

Small things — a headline, a price, a photo — you click and edit directly on the live site, on any plan, and those republish in seconds. If the first build is broken or missing what the plan promised, your team fixes it, free — that was our mistake. Bigger changes beyond that are your team’s work on Live, built around your existing plan rather than starting you over.

How long does the whole thing actually take?

The conversation is about ten minutes. Reviewing the plan takes as long as you want to spend on it — nothing expires. The build itself is minutes. After that, launching is your call, not ours: most of the elapsed time is you deciding rather than you waiting.

Do I have to sit and watch the build?

No. You can watch it if you want to, or close the tab and come back when it is done. Nothing needs you between approving the plan and the site being finished.
